Shopping-Bargains.com Inducted into the Circle of Honor

Shopping-Bargains.com was formally inducted into the Circle of Honor at the 5th annual Mississippi Business Integrity Awards banquet held in Jackson, Mississippi on March 29, 2007. At this event, 13 Mississippi-based businesses of various sizes were presented with this recognition. The Circle of Honor award was awarded by the Mississippi Better Business Bureau in partnership with the Mississippi Business Journal. We are the first Internet business ever presented with this award.

As founder and president of Shopping-Bargains.com, I am deeply honored to have been selected to receive this award. I appreciate the recognition of our efforts to treat people fairly and to run an ethical business. I also look forward to continued service to others as we grow Shopping-Bargains.com.

The banquet was a very enjoyable event held in the Mississippi TelCom Center. In addition to the Circle of Honor Awards, other awards were presented. The 2007 Torchbearer Award was presented to Hartley D. Peavey, Chairman and CEO of Peavey Electronics Corporation. The 2007 CEO of Integrity Award was presented to Anthony Topazi, President and CEO of Mississippi Power. Three Integrity Awards and one Integrity First Award were also presented.

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting a variety of people. At our table were David Hamby of Jubilee Enterprizes (specializes in custom remodeling) and his wife Anita who is an Independent Tastefully Simple Consultant. Also at our table was the Founder and the Business Development Manager of TempStaff and ExecuStaff.
